The NSW Government has recognised the need to invest in the future of electric vehicles (EVs). As part of their commitment to sustainability and innovation, they offer a generous grant to retrofit existing apartment buildings, making them EV-ready.
The application comes in 2 stages:
Stage 1 – Feasibility Assessment:$2,000 ex-GST, while the NSW Government covers the rest of the fee.
Stage 2 – Infrastructure Upgradesup to $80,000 per building at this stage . Additionally, it covers 50% of eligible software subscription costs for two years, up to $1,200 per building.
How does it work?
Inspect your building and design a feasibility study of your building identify your building’s current and future EV charging needs.
Supply a cost estimation and framework of the project.
Assist the strata’s application for the grant opportunity.
Retrofit EV charging infrastructure including switchboards, distribution boards, cabling, labour, Load Management system (LMS) and chargers.
Commission and install monitoring and payment software
Enable residents to easily install their own EV charger.
Have 5 years warranty and systems maintenance.
Enable charging payment for residents.
Enable payment options for users, the 20% investment can be quickly offset and increase the ROI.
Turn EV charging stations into a revenue-generating asset . Get the ROI quickly by billing residents for the energy consumption and have full control of the whole infrastructure remotely.
Add Multiple payments options for residents and visitors to capitalise on the usage of stations.
Cover any maintenance costs and create an additional income stream for the Owners Corporation.
Manage user accounts, track charging sessions, and generate accurate usage reports, ensuring transparency and accountability.
